Easter eggs and lazy’ness are all good ingredients for the typical Easter weekend. Heading out into the woodland with Graham and friends to film music videos is more tasty than a lorry load of Creme Eggs and more hilarious than watching the Morecombe & Wise Easter special. I first heard ‘Sorrow’s Army’ on Graham’s iPod in Camden’s cafe Nero over a year ago, so to be filming the footage for Graham was such a privilege. The brilliant director and animator Chris Hopewell (you probably know him from Radiohead’s There There video) is creating the animation and effects for Graham’s In The Morning. In an effort to sprinkle in a few more pieces of motion footage Graham, Team-Coxon and myself all kitted-up and headed into woodland, field and muddy-brook; rummaging in the mudd’ege and frolicking in the nettles-of-sting. Damn those nettles! I should gain the feeling back in my legs in a few weeks! The others -especially Graham after the final muddy-water-river-scene – are all scarred for life…four days with me can do that to anyone… |
